“Moses said to him: “Should I follow you to teach me some of the wisdom that was taught to you?” He replied: “You certainly do not have the required patience to endure long enough with me.” “And how can you bring yourself to bear with something which its intended purpose requires knowledge you do not have.” Moses said: “Should Allah will it so, you will find me patient, and I will never disobey any of your orders.” He said: “If you should follow me, then do not ask me anything unless I mention it to you”. (Quran 18:66-70)
قَالَ لَهُ مُوسَىٰ هَلْ أَتَّبِعُكَ عَلَىٰ أَن تُعَلِّمَنِ مِمَّا عُلِّمْتَ رُشْدًا
قَالَ فَإِنِ اتَّبَعْتَنِي فَلَا تَسْأَلْنِي عَن شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ أُحْدِثَ لَكَ مِنْهُ ذِكْرًا
