“Because of the pact [enjoyed by] the [tribe of] Quraysh, (1) And their mutual agreement regarding their [safe travel during] the [annual] winter and summer journeys, (2) let them, therefore, adore the Lord of this House, [the Ka’ba], (3) Who satisfied their hunger when supplies of food were meager, and Who provided them with security against fear [of danger]. (4) ” (Quran 106)
